CSU is thrilled to again partner with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) as part of our Think Pink Campaign this October. We have been working closely with the MSABC organization to grow our partnership and ensure a successful campaign by adding creative activities for all of our teams, coaches and families to be involved!
Those activities include, but are not limited to:
- Pink team tees for game day (free!)
- Think Pink information at our home fields in Plymouth and East Bridgewater
- Festive fundraising raffles
- Pink inspired bake sales
- A new look (pink!) website
- Teams in the Walk Against Breast Cancer
- And more!
How You Can Help!
We need teams to volunteer on Sunday, October 18th and Sunday, October 25th for 2-3 hour blocks to share information about breast cancer awareness, our partnership with Making Strides, to take donations and to sell raffle tickets. I have included a sign up Google Doc below for teams to register for times that work best with their schedules.
We are also asking teams to bake “pink-inspired” goods to sell at the game fields during their time slots. Ideas include cupcakes with pink frosting, pink ribbon-shaped cookies or any of these ideas: Pink Baked Goods
Lastly, we are excited to host a one-day awareness challenge on Friday, October 16th during which we invite our players to wear their t-shirts to school, teams to host fundraising activities and supporters to donate to the cause!
100% of the donations collected will benefit Making Strides and the incredible work they’re doing to support those battling, those who have survived and those who are working every day to find a cure to this horrible disease.
