We hope that you and your families are all well, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to react to the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19.
Our top priority is to provide a safe environment for our players and staff. Presently, Liverpool International Academy CT / MA / RI is heeding the advice of our local governing bodies and have therefore suspended traditional team trainings until April 15, 2020. During this time, we have provided our players with Individual Training Plans that come directly from the Liverpool Academy in England. This quality programming is designed to allow players to continue their training and love of the game as part of the Liverpool Family. We have received a tremendous response, and we are committed to continually improve its content and presentation as we go along.
Looking forward, the NEP remains committed to providing a spring season. Though we don’t presently know what that will look like, it will probably include a later kick-off date and will extend into the summer months. LFC IA MA CT / MA / RI is also considering the addition of other summer programming to ensure we provide sufficient services to all of our players and their families. We make these assurances for those of you that have finalized your payments for this year. For the few that may have not, we encourage you to reach out to us at email@example.com so that we can work with you.
We understand that our Academy program is just one piece of a much larger puzzle that all families are currently facing. For our part, we are committed to continuing to deliver the authentic Liverpool experience. For now, we’ll do that through the Individual Training Plans. However, we can’t wait until we can do that back out on the fields!
You’ll Never Walk Alone.
To all our Members and Participating Families:
Liverpool International Academy CT / MA / RI is actively monitoring health officials’ reports and updates on the rapidly changing public health environment caused by coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact on the health of our players and staff.
To that end, we are immediately suspending all Academy activities until Thursday, March 26, 2020. This includes Competitive Team trainings and matches, Pre-Academy sessions, Street Soccer, Clinics, and Town Partnership activities. Any out-of-state tournaments that our teams are playing in will be addressed individually.
Over the next two weeks, we will monitor and comply with the directions of Federal, state, and local officials in regards to the resumption of our programming.
Further communications regarding each of our programs will be provided in the next 72 hours.
We urge everyone to make prevention part of your routine. For guidance, we direct you to the following links:
